What Does The 12 Stand For On Alabama Helmet

I found this game in the shareware version in a demo CD along with many others, after a bit 'of time spent setting it up I could get it started. A true masterpiece!
This is a title developed by 3D Realms in collaboration with the Monolith Productions and distributed by GT Interactive . The title and 'more' known as Monolith Blood .
In the game assume the role of Caleb, an old gunslinger in the Wild West, with him we will make our way in bleak street scenes to the sound of gunshots and dynamite sticks.
killed by an evil demon named Thcernobog for reasons not clear, its only purpose will be 'the revenge and avenge the death of his friend Ophelia Price, also a victim of this evil demon.
fronting along the way, we will find a myriad of followers of the demon and not just, even rotting Zombie, winged demons, devils, hands cut off and disgusting sea creatures.
Nothing that a good shot well established, however, can not solve!
We can count on the pitchfork type weapons or firearms such as pistols, a rifle and even a beautiful and devastating machine gun!
We can have fun like crazy maniacs in seeing some fraterello demonic blow to the sound of rockets and Razzetti or perhaps giving it a spray with a slow fire for real terrorists, and enjoy their sounds incomprehensible. Alternatively you can 'destroy much of what surrounds us.
One of the strengths of the game and 'definitely liking, the comments of the protagonist from time to time or the shrill and unintelligible screams of the monks possessed always manage to snatch a smile.
In the game there are also many ironic references to horror films like Halloween or Nightmare, or levels achieved as a gift, you can 'talk of a mall-style "Dawn of the Dead" for example.
Nevertheless, it should not 'just run and shoot wildly, the more' often bisognera 'use ingenuity to move on, find keys and solve puzzles to unravel or unlock extra levels of trouble! The design of the latter is' not at all trivial nor left to chance, vast and detailed, very beautiful and pleasant to explore.

The game engine and 'the same as Duke Nukem, which is the build engine, while the game is divided into six chapters, including 4 core and 2 with additional expansions. You can 'have it all free as abandonware, with a package named One Unit Whole Blood , available on many abandonware game sites.
You can 'run the game in DOS with DosBox or Windows XP using Blood .
Given the mature content, the game probably is not 'suitable for everyone, there is still a function of parental control within the game that limits violence, and in any case' a must play in order to understand and fully appreciate what I'm talking.
